Nationals

WOW! It has been awhile since I last posted on here. Things have been really busy since Nationals. Although I did not place, I had the time of my life! I met so many new people and it is an experience that I will hold onto for the rest of my life. I owe a huge thanks to all of my generous sponsors, friends and family who supported me every step of the way. Mrs Greenfield and Mrs Guter, you two were my pageant mamas throughout the whole week and I owe everything to you. Congrats to the new Miss Jr. Teen United States Paige Holloway. I know you will do an amazing job representing such an amazing country. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to meet you :) Jeffery you calmed my nerves all week <3 thank you so much for being there for me! Chris and Kyle, you put on an fabulous pageant and I cant wait to see it grow to be even bigger.

Nationals week was full of surprises! Between fireworks, parades, appearances, and rehearsals I was exhausted by the time it was over but it was and experience I wouldn't give up for the world. Tabitha Cain, who owns Pageants, Proms, and Pretty Things in Roanoke, Va, helped me pick out the perfect gown! Being on that stage knowing you are on live television is one of the most nerve racking things I have done but being in that perfect gown made a huge difference and calmed any jitters as soon as I stepped into it.

To my successor: Take in every moment and make as many friends as you can because even if you don't take home that crown, you can take home friendships that will last a lifetime

2 weeks until nationals

Its unbelievable how fast nationals is approaching. In less than two weeks I will be in DC with an amazing group of girls competing for the title of Miss Jr. Teen United States. Im looking back at how far I've come since I first started pageants and I never imagined that I would be going to nationals or holding a state title. The excitement, nerves, and curiousity are undescribable and I want to give a HUGE thanks to all my sponsors: Carter Hair Design, Garibaldi Insurance Agency, Kristie Lumley Moving Company, the Pethokoukis Family, Sun Image Tan, and Rachel From Salon 730. I wouldnt be going to nationals without you guys :)

Relay For Life Fredericksburg

This past weekend I had the opportunity to attend the Fredericksburg Relay for life. From 3pm Saturday night to 5am Sunday morning I was able to participate in the fun wacky laps and fundraising to show that "Cancer Never Sleeps." It was a great way to get active and bring awareness to different types of cancer and raise money to help find the cure. The Star cheerleaders posed for a pic and I found a sweet princess to take a picture with before we headed out to the track.

Art in Heels and Photo Shoot

Art in Heels with my pageant sisters was a success. We were a bit star-struck modeling for famous designers, Johnathan Kayne and Heidi Elnora of Project Runway. Johnathanm Kayne is responsible for designing my pageant shoes and a few of my gowns. He supplied us with stunning outfits for our photo shoot with Miguel on Friday. We also had the chance to model for Cate Lyon who has been a designer for Victoria's Secret and also made Paula Dean's Wedding dress. This fabulous event took place in Charlotesville on Thursday:) By the end of the day my pageant sisters and I were exhauseted! We couldn't help but ordering room service at around 11:00 at night ;) Great way to end an amazing week. Thank you Jeff, Mrs. Caputo, Chris (National Director), Chantel (State Director), Miguel (photographer), Brad (photographer), and all 4 of the National Title holders for making this event special. <3
